Left Lane Cruiser

Left Lane Cruiser (Fort Wayne, Ind.)
Garage Blues

Left Lane Cruiser began in 2004 as a loudass North Mississippi Hill Country/Blues trio but with their bassist’s swift departure, slide guitarist/vocalist Fredrick “Joe” Evans IV and drummer/vocalist/blower of the holy harmonica Brenn Beck decided to shift to a loudass North Mississippi Hill Country/Blues duo. After 2006’s Gettin’ Down On It, the pair signed with Alive Records and released five outstanding albums of tornadic Punkabilly chaos, including last year’s blistering Rock Them Back to Hell! The duo’s recently released Slingshot is a remastered version of the band’s primal and barely pressed first album, raw as a field-dressed deer and as tasty as the venison burger that comes out of the pan once it’s home. Loud, proud and unbowed; cruise on, Cruiser.
